Recently, it was learned from the Municipal Development and Reform Bureau that the "Zhejiang Province's Major Construction Project Implementation Plan for the Expansion of Effective Investment in 2024" has been released. Pinghu has a total of 13 projects selected, covering areas such as advanced manufacturing bases, strengthening the foundation of scientific and technological innovation, transportation, cultural tourism integration, and more. The total investment in these projects is 59.327 billion yuan, ranking second in Jiaxing. The planned investment for 2024 is 10.1 billion yuan, ranking first in Jiaxing. Among the 13 projects selected, three new projects including the Phase I Project of Minghu International Science and Technology Innovation Island, the International Science and Technology Convention and Exhibition Center, and the Pinghu Science and Technology Innovation Youth City have all started construction, with a construction commencement rate of 100%, ranking first in Jiaxing.

The selection of 13 projects for the province's "Thousand Projects, Trillion Investment" initiative demonstrates Pinghu's vigorous momentum in promoting economic and social development through major project construction. This year, Pinghu will focus on three "number one projects" as the main focus and six major action plans as boosters, comprehensively implementing the "Project Breakthrough" action plan. It will focus on four central tasks: "structural optimization, project advancement, element guarantee, and service value-added", rolling out the construction of more than 30 billion yuan worth of major projects, striving for a fixed asset investment growth rate of over 10% for the whole year, and empowering the momentum to build a shining pearl of modern China's Jinpinghu.
