Enjoying Pinghu-style Pipa performances, tasting local intangible cultural heritage pastries—when intangible cultural heritage meets trending national styles, it lights up a unique Pinghu New Year. The "waterfront fusion" tour route introduces innovative themed interactive check-in spots, the New Year's "fireside tea brewing" package attracts leisurely "slow travel" enthusiasts, and the bonfire Spring Festival carnival night creates a distinctive rural New Year atmosphere. Scenic areas are integrating trending elements, continuously innovating to attract visitors. Boutique rural tourism routes are seeing a surge in visitors, special markets are boosting New Year consumption, and diverse rural tourism experiences have become highlights of Spring Festival travel. During the recently concluded Spring Festival holiday, the city's scenic spots were bustling with visitors, offering a series of exciting events that pushed the city's tourism market to new heights. According to preliminary statistics, during the 2025 Spring Festival, the city's scenic spots and 3A-rated scenic villages received a total of 730,100 visitors, generating a revenue of 20.067 million yuan. Among these outstanding results, the Nanhentou Historical and Cultural District in the main urban area and the "How Many Layers of Mountains and Seas in Pinghu?" scenic spot in Xindai Town stood out as top performers. During the Spring Festival, the Nanhentou Historical and Cultural District launched the Greedy Snake Fun Fair, organized a New Year goods market, and hosted a lively Mingke Lane New Year music party, while also incorporating distinctive cultural activities such as lion dances, handmade rice cake workshops, and New Year blessings. The scenic area welcomed 130,000 visitors and generated 1.5 million yuan in revenue. Meanwhile, "How Many Layers of Mountains and Seas in Pinghu?" remained immensely popular throughout the holiday, featuring a "Golden Snake Welcomes Spring, Mountains and Seas Bring Blessings" themed series, including intangible cultural heritage performances such as molten iron fireworks and fire dragon spears, attracting 300,000 visitors. During the Spring Festival, rural tourism in the city also proved to be a strong draw. The baseball park in Xujiadai Village, Lindai Town, became a popular new destination for family outings. The first-ever Circus Carnival, the rural dragon-themed specialty market, folk experiences, and festive food-making activities not only attracted numerous tourists from other regions but also saw many locals returning multiple times. According to statistics, the baseball park welcomed an average of nearly 8,000 visitors per day, totaling over 61,000 visitors, with overall tourism revenue reaching nearly 1.89 million yuan. |
