Recently, the Pinghu investment promotion team visited Denmark and Germany to conduct business negotiations and attract investment. The delegation focused on participating in the “Invest in China” series of events organized by the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade and set up an exhibition booth at Hannover Messe, the world’s largest industrial fair. Their goal was to promote Pinghu’s investment environment, further expand into international markets, and support the city’s high-level opening-up. Hannover Messe in Germany is known as a global barometer of industrial development and is one of the largest and most influential industrial exhibitions in the world. This year’s fair brought together over 4,000 exhibitors from more than 60 countries and regions. Since 2016, the “Invest in China” special event has been held during Hannover Messe for several consecutive years, aiming to showcase China’s continuously improving business environment and vast investment opportunities to global enterprises. At the “Invest in China” event, representatives from the delegation gave a dedicated presentation on Pinghu’s advantageous location, strong industrial base, well-developed innovation system, and efficient business services. They sincerely welcomed the attending entrepreneurs to visit Pinghu for sightseeing and business discussions, and to explore win-win cooperation opportunities. During the expo, the Pinghu team also engaged with officials from Baden-Württemberg and Schleswig-Holstein, as well as exhibitors visiting the booth, to promote Pinghu’s investment environment and explore potential partnerships. In addition, the delegation visited five cities in two countries, calling on the headquarters of companies already invested in Pinghu such as Danish Crown and Weicon, and building new connections with institutions like Heidelberg Technology Park. Using expos as a bridge to go global, Pinghu has in recent years positioned Europe—particularly Germany—as a key region for investment attraction. The city has introduced a number of high-quality projects with strong industrial compatibility and sound economic performance. Currently, Pinghu is home to 43 German-invested enterprises, including 11 projects from Fortune Global 500 and leading international companies. This year, the city plans to send six investment promotion delegations to Europe and establish liaison offices in Italy and France, further unleashing new momentum for country-specific investment and enhancing its reputation as a prime destination for high-quality foreign investment. |
