On May 5, the 137th Canton Fair concluded. According to the Pinghu Municipal Bureau of Commerce, Pinghu-based enterprises actively explored business opportunities and sought development prospects during this session of the Fair, achieving fruitful results. A total of 75 participating companies from Pinghu received 8,178 visits from foreign buyers and reached intended deals amounting to USD 38.8984 million, showcasing the core competitiveness of "Made in Pinghu" on the international stage. In Phase 3 of the Canton Fair, themed "Better Living," 52 enterprises from Pinghu participated, including 22 in the children's bicycle sector and 26 in the luggage sector, together forming a robust industrial cluster for Pinghu’s global outreach. Jinjianfeng Group Pinghu Children's Bicycle Co., Ltd. was one of the exhibitors. A regular participant at the Canton Fair, the company sees it as a prime opportunity to expand markets and secure orders. This year, they exhibited 24 models of children’s bicycles, most of which were new products. Licensed models from brands such as Audi, Lexus, and Land Rover added eye-catching appeal to their booth and received widespread interest and recognition from buyers. “We hope to secure orders from emerging markets through the Canton Fair and diversify our foreign trade development pathways,” said He Xiafeng, General Manager of Jinjianfeng Group Pinghu Children's Bicycle Co., Ltd. The company hosted over 100 buyers during the Fair—more than in previous years. Moving forward, they plan to make full use of the opportunity to strengthen connections with prospective clients and work on turning intended deals into concrete orders that will drive business growth. Introducing new products and expanding globally have become key motivations for Pinghu enterprises to participate in the Canton Fair. XinXiu Group, which has already built a distribution network across 68 countries, came to this year’s fair aiming to further broaden its development reach. At their booth, more than 150 newly designed luggage products drew significant attention due to their unique styles. According to Che Mingxin, the company’s brand manager, the new products featured notable innovations in both structure and materials. The group received over 300 buyers during the fair and was pleasantly surprised by the reception. One Australian buyer, visiting XinXiu’s booth for the first time, was captivated by the innovative designs. After over an hour of discussion, both parties reached a preliminary cooperation agreement on the spot. Trade shows remain a vital pathway for Pinghu enterprises to “go global.”“We will continue optimizing our ‘exhibiting to expand markets’ initiative, further increasing access to high-quality trade show resources and, through improved services, encourage and support enterprises in expanding globally, securing more orders, and growing their markets. This will contribute to the high-quality development of our city’s foreign trade,” said a spokesperson from the Municipal Bureau of Commerce. This year, Pinghu plans to participate in more than 10 domestic and international trade fairs, involving over 200 enterprises (or participations), to help businesses venture abroad. |
