Yesterday, the 6th China International Import Expo 2023 Yangtze River Delta G60 Science and Innovation Corridor High-Quality Development Element Docking Conference was held, and the first batch of "Yangtze River Delta G60 Science and Innovation Corridor Integration Development Demonstration Zone" was officially recognized. Pinghu was awarded the title of the first batch of "Yangtze River Delta G60 Science and Innovation Corridor Integration Development Demonstration Zone," becoming the only county (city, district) in the Jiaxing area to be successfully recognized. Municipal Party Secretary Zhong Xudong attended the conference and received the award.

In recent years, Pinghu has actively integrated into the overall development of the Yangtze River Delta, leveraging its unique geographical advantages, promoting the construction of the G60 Science and Innovation Corridor, and continuously advancing the integration of urban industries and towns. This effort has steadily increased the recognition of the Pinghu node of the G60 Science and Innovation Corridor, providing a model for the development path of integrated urban and industrial development in counties and cities along the G60 Science and Innovation Corridor. In 2022, Pinghu achieved a GDP of 960 billion yuan, with the output value of large-scale industries exceeding 2700 billion yuan, maintaining its position at the forefront of the province. It is recognized as an outstanding manufacturing base for automobile components in China and a "new star" industry cluster in the province's CNC machine tool industry.

The award of the title of the first batch of "Yangtze River Delta G60 Science and Innovation Corridor Integration Development Demonstration Zone" is both an affirmation of Pinghu's past integration into the overall development of the Yangtze River Delta and marks a new starting point. In the future, Pinghu will further explore mechanisms for joint construction and sharing, actively promote the integration of all factors, comprehensively enhance the city's overall capabilities, fully integrate into the regional development, improve economic agglomeration, regional connectivity, urban-industrial integration, and policy coordination efficiency. This will comprehensively support the construction of the G60 Science and Innovation Corridor and the development of the Yangtze River Delta urban agglomeration.
