Models gracefully walked the runway in down jackets that blended traditional embroidery with modern tailoring. Sparks of fashion flew as tech fabrics clashed with trendy designs under the lights. Yesterday, on the stage of the “Diyang·2025 Tianjin Fashion Week,” a fashion show spotlighting down jackets captured the industry's attention. Pinghu · China Garment City made a striking appearance alongside local enterprises such as POP Shejie, Yuchang, Datang, and MISSFIVE Wu Xiaojie. With three trending themes—New Chinese Style, Outdoor, and Japanese-Korean Casual—the show showcased the innovative vitality of Pinghu’s down jacket industry to a global audience. In recent years, Pinghu has continuously leveraged its supply chain advantages and activated its innovation genes. Through initiatives like building the “Fashion Pinghu” regional brand, the city has focused on perfecting the art of crafting fashion-forward down jacket brands, steadily enhancing global recognition of Pinghu-made outerwear. This appearance at Tianjin Fashion Week offered a panoramic display of the Pinghu industrial zone’s diverse styles and innovative strength—another successful implementation of the regional brand strategy. “Our goal is to create a ‘time advantage’ in global down jacket trends,” said a representative from POP Shejie · Pinghu Design City. “By releasing fashion forecasts 18 to 24 months in advance, we guide upstream and downstream supply chain innovation in sync, while also tapping into top international design resources—steering Pinghu manufacturing toward the broader horizon of Chinese creativity.” |
