Recently, an investment promotion team from Pinghu Economic-Technological Development Zone (Zhongdai Subdistrict) visited Japan to engage in business development activities. They conducted direct visits to Japanese-invested companies, promoted the zone in face-to-face meetings, and advanced projects through point-to-point engagement—sending a strong signal of proactive cooperation and conveying Pinghu’s full commitment and sincerity in attracting investment.

On July 14, in Nagoya, Pinghu Economic-Technological Development Zone partnered with the Zhejiang Commercial Representative Office in Japan to hold a dedicated automotive industry investment promotion conference. Through targeted presentations and on-site interactive exchanges, they showcased Pinghu’s strategic location, industrial clusters, innovation capacity, and growth potential—drawing over 40 well-known Japanese automotive-related enterprises, including Toyota Boshoku Corporation and DENSO Corporation. During their stay, the team also visited Japanese-invested projects under discussion, clearly signaling Pinghu’s firm commitment to optimizing its business environment and supporting foreign enterprises. This has significantly boosted Japanese companies’ confidence in expanding in Pinghu and deepened practical cooperation between government and business across multiple sectors.

The Pinghu team’s trip to Japan also attracted wide attention from Japanese society. Japan’s leading industrial newspaper—Nikkan Kogyo Shimbun—ran reports for three consecutive days on Pinghu’s automotive industry and promotion events in Japan, greatly enhancing the zone’s visibility and reputation. Since June this year, the paper has featured Pinghu’s Japan-focused cooperation efforts in prominent sections such as the front page, unlocking the “code” behind the development of the China-Japan (Pinghu) Industrial Cooperation Park. These reports have offered Japan’s business community a comprehensive view of Pinghu’s industrial vitality, innovative momentum, and business-friendly environment—fostering collaboration with Japanese manufacturers across diverse fields.
